The pizza was very appealing visually, tasty with a nice mix of meats, vegetables, and a nice traditional thickness (medium) crust. The sourdough crust was better than the crusts we most often have. The soft drinks were just right with our pizza. Friendly staff made it an all around pleasant experience.

1. Your sauce is incredible, your ingredients are fresh, tasty, and laid out in the correct proportions. Everybody we introduce to your pizza agrees it’s the best they’ve ever had.
We have to move into a bigger house, but we’ve given your delivery map to our realtor to make sure we don’t move too far from the best pizza on Earth.

2. This is truthfully the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Thick or thin, the crust adds flavor to the pizza – it’s not just a platform. The sauce is rich and tangy, the meat is fresh and wonderful, the veggies are cooked to perfection. We gave a copy of their delivery map to our realtor; we are NOT moving away from this pizza joint!

Yes, Absolutely! You guys have the absolutely BEST pizza around and we are VERY picky! The price is definitely worth it because you always pile on the ingredients and there is nothing around that tastes this good!

The Palate Pleaser pizza was delicious! The sauce was fresh and really flavorful,–really tasted like homemade sauce. The vegetable toppings were crisp and there was lots, and lots of meat! It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!

The best pizza we’ve ever had!

Last year I decided to thank my employees with delivery of a pizza and salad sent specifically on a day when I was not in the shop. When the pizza arrived my employees almost sent it back since they did not expect it. Boy, were they glad they didn’t! Double D’s Sourdough Pizza has since become a favorite of mine and a favorite of my employees, not only when we’re working, but when we want pizza at home as well. The attention to detail and fresh flavors really sets their pizza apart from all the rest. This is a true gem in Louisville!

Moving from California where I was used to Round Table Pizza, I was pining for a great pizza. I finally found it at Double D’s! Their crust is fabulous, the sauce is excellent and the ingredients are high quality! The only drawback is that they don’t have a sit-down restaurant so you really have to get your pizza to go!

I don’t write thank-you notes as often as I should, guilty there.  But in this case, I just want to reach out to a new business in town to say what a wonderful service you are already providing.

We first discovered your delicious and original pizza at the Superior Chamber of Commerce evening in June.  Since then, we have ordered many times, both during business hours and at home (Golf in HD and Pizza).  We make such a fuss over your pizzas that we just wanted you to know how much we sincerely love the great taste (there is something about that sourdough!) and the originality of the flavors.
